Based on the realized calculations and measurements of electromagnetic fields in 68 cities in Trnava, Nitra, Trenčín, Banská Bystrica, Žilina, Prešov and Košice regions, with a population more than 10,000 can be mentioned following information:

• Calculations were carried out on an area of 3960 km sq. (about 8 % of the territory of the Slovak Republic), where there live more than 2 million inhabitants (about 38 %). Based on the results it can be stated that action level of electric field was not exceeded in any city. The largest calculated value of electric field strength: 5.5 V/m was calculated in Kosice.


• More than 90 % of the calculated values of the electric field are less than 0.5 V/m. More detailed information about counting rate of the calculated values E in each interval is in the picture.


• Between 01/2011 and 09/2015 were carried out measurements on more than 20 thousand locations in Slovakia. All measured values of the electric field were lower than action values defined by Ministry Decree no. 534/2007 Col. The largest values were measured in the GSM band.
